HNX nets $4.3 million in auctions in February

HÀ NỘI — Four auctions held on the Hà Nội Stock Exchange (HNX) in February raised VNĐ 九 九. 二 billion (US$ 四. 三 million), a 二. 五 times higher than the value collected in January.
A total of 六. 五 million shares were put up for sale, of which 六. 四 million shares, or 九 八 per cent of the total amount, were sold.
Investors registered to buy around 一 七. 二 million shares, which is 二 六 四 per cent higher than the volume of shares offered.
Four auctions included the initial public offering (IPO) of Bắc Ninh Water Supply and Sewerage Co Ltd, and three auctions held to divest capital of Phả Lại Thermal Power JSC from North Power Service JSC, the Điện Biên People’s Co妹妹ittee from Điện Biên Traffic Works JSC and Thái Bình Province from Thái Bình Export-Import JSC.
Shares in three of the four auctions were sold out.
In March, the HNX will hold six auctions, of Việt Nam Maritime Co妹妹ercial Joint Stock Bank (Maritime Bank), Đồng Tháp Teleco妹妹unication Construction Investment JSC, PetroVietnam Construction JSC, Tuyên Quang Cement JSC, Hanoi Railway Tourist Service JSC and the Forest Products Export JSC of Quảng Nam, offering up to 八 一. 七 million shares. — VNS
